What you will notice first about TRL Systems employees is their discreet
presence. Our field staff has years of experience working in health care
and commercial facilities. They know that your work environment drives theirs.
They are trained to be flexible, to work as transparently as possible, and to work
around your schedule. Details like never leaving ladders or tools unattended in
traffic areas, and cleaning up after themselves (with company-provided vaccum cleaners)
are just a few of the TRL Systems service differences.
Our approach to training is significantly different. Rather than using the "train
the trainer" approach, in which one representative from our company receives first-hand
training from a specific manufacturer, then passes it on, we send every member of the
TRL installation and service technician team for manufacturer's training. As new
technicians join TRL Systems, a customized training schedule, designed specifically
for their current skill level, promptly brings them up to our high level of
product certification standards.
We also insist that our employees pursue industry certification. For example,
all technicians must undergo the rigorous process necessary to become NICET-certified
for fire protection, engineering technology/fire alarm systems. TRL Systems senior
testing technicians also have the Los Angeles Fire Department's Regulation 4
Certificate of Fitness.
In addition, we provide in-service training to your employees so they have a
working knowledge of your new system. This ongoing training is part of our
long-term commitment to every client. Throughout the design and installation process,
you will be in contact with your assigned staff engineer. This TRL Systems
professional also interfaces on your project's behalf with the appropriate authorities.
Maintenance and testing schedules are determined by you and by industry standards.
If you prefer a more frequent schedule then that set by regulatory agencies, we will
schedule testing per your preferences. Our testing ensures your system satisfies all
regulations and codes - and your own standards.
Beyond scheduled service and testing, TRL Systems is available to you 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. In an emergency, we will respond within four hours. We consider it an emergency
when you tell us it is. Your satifaction is our primary mission. We are committed to it.
