TRL Systems Rises to number 24 in SDM Magazine's Top 100 Nationally Ranked System Integrators

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (July 7, 2022)—We're proud to announce that TRL Systems has leapt up the ranks in SDM Magazine's 2022 Top 100 nationally-ranked system integrators from number 36 to number 24. This is TRL's sixth year on the list and the company's first year to crack the top 25 percent.

TRL Systems' ranking represents work completed by the Security and Healthcare divisions, collaborating to design and implement video management, access control and intrusion detection security solutions for industry segments including healthcare, education, industrial, hospitality, government, multi-tenant and transportation.

"The work we did last year was phenomenal, especially coming out of a disastrous few years for our industry," says Security Division General Manager Gary Chavarria. "It was a true team effort across the board. From the support staff to HR and Accounting, to the project managers in the field and the IT team. They supported us all the way."

Security Division Operations Manager Shad Stoltz concurs, "It was a challenging year to get us to where we are with delays in equipment, constant increases in prices from our vendors, supply-chain challenges and manpower issues," he says. "But what strikes me the most is how everyone put their best foot forward and continued to win every day."

The list, which is in its 26th year, ranks North American systems integrators strictly according to integration project revenue, including design, project management, programming, installation and customer training. Featured in the report was TRL Systems' project to upgrade the historic Los Angeles Union Station in 2021. The $1.3 million project included access control and video management system upgrades to newer technology, including the addition of cameras and readers.

According to the report, AI is one of the top trends driving the security integration business forward, along with cloud-based services. "AI and cloud-based systems are the future of our industry, and we're ready," says Gary. "TRL is known for offering our customers leading-edge technology with top-notch IT integration."
