Building Brighter Spaces:TRL Volunteers Transform Kelley Elementary

On a bright Saturday morning in October, TRL Systems volunteers partnered with 365Connect for a community service project at Kelley Elementary School in Rialto. Together, our teams came ready to make a difference by painting, building, and refreshing the campus to create a more welcoming environment for students and staff.

In just a few short hours, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and:
• Designed, built, and planted new garden boxes and trees to bring life to the campus
• Painted vibrant murals across playground and classroom areas
• Created a cozy kindness closet
• Brightened up classrooms and outdoor spaces with color and creativity

For many children, school is their safe space — a place to learn, grow, and feel inspired. TRL’s mission to protect people and property extends beyond our work sites; it’s about investing in the communities we serve. Together, our team turned simple materials into something meaningful: joy, pride, and a brighter environment for the students and staff of Kelley Elementary.

“Giving back to the community and being of service to something bigger than yourself is really important,” said Kati Souza, DevOps Manager at TRL Systems. “We’ve been able to accomplish a lot — we’ve expanded this garden; we’ve given them beautiful murals to look at — you can accomplish a lot and give a lot in a short period of time.”

A huge thank you to every TRL volunteer and to our partners at 365Connect for helping bring this project to life. Your generosity, energy, and teamwork truly made a difference. We look forward to continuing to serve and support the communities that make Southern California such a special place to call home.
